James currently lives in North Main area of Greenville with his three dogs, Domino, a Parson Jack Russell, and Graycie Mae, an Italian Greyhound, and an American Staffordshire Terrier, Faith, who was rescued after being thrown from a car. Prior to moving to the North Main area, James, Domino, & Graycie lived in the Overbrook area of town, as well as the Augusta Road area where James and his partner renovated a condo at McDaniel Heights. James graduated from The Wyatt Real Estate Institute in 2005. He then served as First Vice Chair of the Greenville County Democratic Party. In 2009, James was selected as one of Greenville’s Best and Brightest 35 and under by Greenville Magazine and in 2015 was selected as part of The Greenville Chamber of Commerce’s year long Leadership Greenville Class 42. James is very active in both local and statewide politics and has served as the First Vice Chair of the Greenville County Democratic Party in 2011-2012 as well as a Greenville County and South Carolina Delegate. In November 2013, James was named one of the Top 99 Realtors on Twitter by WebsiteBox as well as one of the 32 Most Popular Realtor’s in America by Home Buyer Nation.
